Hi guys! Today I'm sharing a few photos taken during a portrait session in the Old Port. Rebekah and Tito met while she was studying in Argentina and they recently travelled back to Quebec for a wedding ceremony in her hometown of St-Eustache. I was a guest at their wedding, and since Rebekah was a friend of mine growing up, I offered them a mini-portrait session. It was a short-and-sweet photo session to me, but to Tito, who hates being photographed, it probably seemed an eternity! Haha... Still, he was a gracious and willing subject and Rebekah brought enough enthusiasm for both of them. :)
My cousin Ben is also a wedding photographer, but he's based in Michigan, in the States. This summer, he came up to Montreal and I took him around to do some sightseeing. In fact, I discovered some favourite Montreal spots along with him...places I'm ashamed to say I'd never been before, like St-Viateur bagels and Café Olimpico. It was totally worth it to play tourist in my home town!
Sacha and James were married on a perfect sunny summer day in Montreal at the Christ Church Cathedral. James and Sacha are quiet and reserved, but something about these two seems to capture their people's allegiance and their wedding day was filled with many close friends celebrating with all their hearts! On the morning of the wedding, Sacha had a pleasant surprise at the hair salon. By coincidence, several of her friends had booked appointments at the same time as her! James's best man Eric stopped by the hair salon to deliver her bouquet and a gift from James. Her bouquet was gorgeous—a compact, artful arrangement of yellow roses, billy buttons, succulents and silver brunia.
I was so surprised when I heard that Molli and Joshua were travelling up from South Carolina to Magog, Quebec, to get married! Typical destination weddings happen in places like Cuba and Mexico, right? They had things upside-down...going north for a wedding...didn't they? Then I found out that they are in love with French culture.  Aha! This was a chance for them to enjoy a little bit of French culture in North America...where their whole families could come along. Even the grandparents were courageous enough to make the 24 hour road trip up through the States.
A few weeks ago, I met up with Didier and Jasmine and their dog Bailie to do a couple's portrait session in downtown Montreal. Didier and Jasmine will be getting married back home in Mauritius this summer. But they wanted to take some engagement photos in Montreal before they left.

Itinerary for these engagement photos in downtown Montreal

We headed to the grounds of the Canadian Centre for Architecture first, then walked east through the downtown area, stopping along the way for interesting graffiti and coffee and pretend Nintendo games and swings and ending up playing in a fountain! A great sunny summer day!
Hi guys! I'm finally sharing a few photos of my lovely friend Heidy taken last summer. She's a musician and we wanted to get some creative shots of her with her guitar. So we went wandering around her neighbourhood in Point St-Charles. Heidy's a quiet soul with big dreams. Hope you enjoy!
Danny and Natalie-Ann were married at the Hotel Ruby Foo's in Montreal on March 23. They had a beautiful emotion-filled ceremony, surrounded by both their families. Their friends got involved by doing everything from officiating the ceremony to acting as emcees. And Natalie-Ann's daughter and son both participated in the ceremony, with a special reading and a live performance of "I'm Yours"! We had initially planned to take their wedding photos outdoors at a nearby train station. But after their frisky-cold winter engagement session, I don't wonder that Natalie-Ann and Danny were hesitant to head out into the cold for their portraits.

They have something awesome in the States called senior photos! These are photos high school students take in their senior year, but they’re not the stereotypical school photos where you...

Finalement, voici quelques images de la session pré-mariage de Ben et Catherine. J'ai passé un agréable après-midi ensoleillé avec eux au Parc Marie-Victorin, au bord de l'eau à Longueuil. C'est un...
