About

Meet your photographer

The chaos of a wedding day holds a million little moments that show who you both are and the people that made you that way. I love witnessing these moments, because they hit me right in the gut and remind me to savour the happy moments in my own life and the connections with my people.

I’ll never tire of the privilege to be welcomed behind-the-scenes, into your families and into your story for the day.

I’m so thankful for this opportunity. When you trust me to wander through your homes and lives while you experience the adrenaline of your big day, it’s my duty and honour to document your memories forever. Thank you.

HOW DID I END UP HERE?

My dad kept a dusty old stack of National Geographic magazines in our basement. I remember paging through them as a kid, falling in love with certain pictures, and clipping out my favourites … A boy with grimy hands holding a bouquet of radishes. A girl changing the oil under her pickup truck. Those photos were part of a bigger story and each one left me wanting to know more.

These old magazines sparked a love of story that followed me for decades. But I didn’t start taking photos until I was an adult. While working as a French-to-English translator, I enrolled in an evening photography class for fun. And got hooked.

I photographed a friend’s wedding in 2009 and what was once a hobby became something I knew I was meant to do for the rest of my life. I quit my day job in 2013 and never looked back.
